An Inspiring Journey

Yesterday, I sat eating lunch in one of my favorite places.  I love going to the Seattle Design Center in Gerorgetown.  Not only is it the home to some of the most prestiges design & decor companies, the very architecture of it is awe inspiring for me.  I love sitting in the great open center of it and brainstorming, reading, or writing.  The Seattle Design Center is actually where I sat a little over a year ago and had a realization that is still forming how I am living today.  It gave me a grand idea and a wonderful goal to work towards in my personal future.  I am still enjoying working towards it!  Yes, there have been bumps and dips along the way...  But I believe that the journey process is actually, sometimes, even more exciting than achieving a goal that you have been working towards.  Because, sometimes, it is a little sad to let go of a project after you have put so much hard work into it.  And, it can be very difficult to be inspired to set one’s sights on yet another, different, goal.
Yesterday and today I have been extremely enjoying reading a book by Maria Menounos called: The EVERYGIRL’S Guide to Life.  Yes, it sounds like a self help book.  It sort of is (combined with a little bit of an autobiography of the author’s life as a TV host, actress, spokesperson, & journalist lifestyle).  Yes, it also sort of sounds like a book for teenage girls, but it’s not.  Not really.  I’m sure I would have loved gobbling up all the interesting and inspiring information from this book as a young teen, but I think it is definitely more helpful now.  I find it especially helpful now because I am no longer living with my parents anymore and I have a family and a puppy to care for of my own.  I sort of wish I had found this book three years ago when I moved out of my parents’ house.  It would have made the transition easier in some ways.  But, I also believe that everything works out in the end.  Everything has a reason.  So, this book is a treasure of information I’m devouring, not three years ago, but today!  Today I’m going to continue reading this book (while sort of getting some chores/errands done) and putting some of this book’s suggestions and tips into action in my own life!  I’m excited for all of these upcoming changes and am looking forward to “letting my mind remain in possibility!”

I have no idea WHY my post is spaced funny like that in the beginning... And I almost just tried to fix it, but now I think it actually looks kind of cool so I'm just gonna go with it like that. (Plus, I need to start some laundry and shower before a meeting I have at 11am! So, I also don't really have time to solve the "Mystery of the funny spacing!" Lol!)

The spacing definitely drew my attention, kudos on leaving it that way ;~)

That book sounds great! Not gonna even pretend I have time to add it to me own reading list, so I hope you share some of the things that you find interesting or helpful here... or over coffee, or sushi... *grins*

I'm going to have to go look that book up. Sounds like something right up my alley.
